Electronic engineering is especially useful in building robots with increasingly sophisticated technology. Thanks to advances in electronic engineering, we no longer have machines on the assembly line. We can also build drones with infrared technology, smart devices that we can control by voice or phone, and even 3D printing machines to make whatever we need. For these reasons, AI is one of the major electronic engineering trends that will shape the future.
AI in Transportation
Engineers are using AI to create autonomous cars. Several problems are cropping up, such as figuring out proper accident response and procedure. Overall, however, the AI train is moving forward in transportation—pun intended. Speaking of trains, you can expect those to become faster. Bullet trains, which can be self-driving, are certainly on the United States’ radar, following Japan. So stay tuned! Enhanced public transportation and the growth of self-driving cars are two of the best ways artificial intelligence will change the world.

AI is changing the way we learn. Facial recognition, machine learning, and natural language processing are creating apps that make it easier to detect plagiarism and help digitize new editions of textbooks. AI can even note the emotions of bored students, so they can try to reach them based on preloaded profiles. This gives kids the personalized help they need to assist them with their learning.
