These Are The Books Every Affiliate Marketer Should Read Before They Make A Million

You can’t afford to not read these…

Affiliate marketing is one of the most tantalizing industries to get into to make a quick buck. You don’t need a product, all you need is a network to market to. It sounds too good to be true. The harsh reality, however, is that your competition is going to be the big players. Marketing teams at large transnational companies.

How can you compete against that?

You need to develop strategies and techniques to make your company/website stand out. Luckily for you, we reached out to affiliate marketers with years of experience. Here are their suggestions for books to read to get your affiliate marketing career off to a solid start.

#1 The E-Myth

I have been involved in affiliate marketing for over a decade and in that time I have also taught dozens of students on a 1-on-1 basis how to build businesses around this model.

The first book I recommend though isn't about affiliate marketing per se, it's a business book and one of the best sellers of all time the E-Myth by Michael E Gerber.

I recommend starting with this goldmine of information because it contains all of the core principles of building and growing a business and an affiliate marketing business is just that, a business.

Many people make the mistake of seeing affiliate marketing as a low barrier to entry opportunity and as such expect to invest minimal time studying essential skills that are relevant to all types of business.

Pick up affiliate marketing books by all means but don't overlook the fundamentals.

#2 Traction

Traction is a book based on marketing channels and how to make decisions in order to stick to just a couple of channels vs. trying everything at once. Traction speaks on how to take advantage of what is working and finding a way to bring it to the next level without having to sacrifice so much time, value and other tactics just to experiment.

Focus on what is delivering results and make it grow, make it reach the right people. If the channel becomes automated or dies, yes, then find a way to open a new channel, but focusing on the best option not being tapped by competitors, will def. present a new line of fresh air to any business!
