#7 Believe Bigger

As somebody who helps Christian women to know their worth, power and purpose so that they may speak up, step out and shine as women of God, I absolutely love this book! Often - as Christians - our faith leads us to believe that we have been placed on the Earth for a purpose; that we are significant. The issue, however, is that we don't always know what that purpose is and how to go about discovering it so that we can ultimately begin to walk it out.

Through Believe Bigger Marshawn Evans Daniels literally takes each reader by the hand and guides them through that process in a way that's really practical and actionable. She makes the spiritual (and therefore abstract) concept of purpose really concrete so that by the end of the book readers walk away empowered and fully armed with what it takes to, not only believe bigger, but live bigger.

#11 Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost is more than just the greatest poem ever written, it’s a treatise on Christian philosophy. The poem asks many questions that are integral to a deep faith and understanding of Christian philosophy according to the well studied John Milton who went so far as to study Jewish mysticism to form a greater understanding of the nature of God, the devil, and the fall. A good companion book is a preface to paradise lost by C.S. Lewis.
