I’ll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara (8/24)

This is true crime at the top of its game. I know this genre is not for everybody but it’s a bestseller page-turner – not a self-help read destined to gather dust on the nightstand. It’s a tale of one woman’s obsession, passion and perseverance to catch a notorious serial rapist and killer in California. Sadly, the author Michelle McNamara did not live to witness the Golden State Killer brought to justice nor her book published.
