For over four years now I’ve used a Samsonite Silhouette Xv Softside Spinner for all of my travels. It is small enough to be used as a carry-on, which is a requirement for all of my luggage as I rarely travel with a checked bag.
It is lightweight which helps when using it as a carry-on and stowing it in an overhead compartment. The spinning wheels make airport and city navigation a breeze. Also a plus, the luggage is water resistant and the comfort gel grip on the handle forms to your hand. I find Samsonite luggage pieces to be very durable (mine has held up through countless trips over the years and still looks new), so they’re worth the price.
