This book helped me become a better person. First, I realized I could be ‘response-able.’ I could choose to leave the stress response cycle behind. I could stop reacting and start making changes in my life that I was capable of changing. Another vital concept I learned is ‘we are interdependent.’ Also, I learned how and why our frustrations are related to our expectations.
