This book helps people be kinder to themselves, lay down their defenses, and take a look inwards at the things that get in the way of embracing self and feeling comfortable with change. I recommend this to clients who tend to self-sabotage their lives, relationships, work achievements, etc. The main theme is to be vulnerable and let go of shame.
