#2 Shoe Dog by Phil Knight

Reading the origin story of Nike may not give you step by step guide on how to write, but it does teach you that success is derived from passion. Knight thought of his company as a child. It struck me that if we considered our writing to be something more meaningful and personal than simple content, then it will automatically be more helpful to readers. Though it doesn't address writing directly, Phil writes with passion. It's a hard book to put down.
