The story follows a federal marshal investigating a missing person on an island asylum for the criminally insane. The marshal Teddy Daniels is sure that there is more to the story than the administrators are letting on. He’s trying desperately to blow the lid off of what he’s sure is the greatest conspiracy in American History. The twists and turns will have you so shocked that you’ll need to start it over from the beginning just to be sure you read it right.
