The book is named Conscious Capitalism because the authors argue that companies misunderstand how to take advantage of the economic flexibility that capitalism allows. Companies put their bottom line in front of their mission and ability to treat their suppliers and distributors as equal partner’s that are relying on each other to achieve success. They talk about how to take advantage of franchising and how to thrive while not being combative with your competition.
