Taegan Lion
It is one of the best fantasy novels ever written, and the inspiration for many books that followed, including mine.
The book takes a more serious tone than Potter, written more like a legend than a novel. Its characters are very human and warm, and its world so believable you’ll ache to wish it was true.
Above all is a central idea in the book that was must embrace our shadow selves in order to be free, something we wrestle with continuously in a society that praises the good while doing endless harm.
