What do you like about this piece?
Liam: Its army, Top Gun esq feel is really cool. You don’t find too many leather jackets that are fitted at the bottom like a bomber jacket. The collar is also very stylish, some leather jackets can be a little OTT but this is back to basics and looks good.
Gath: This piece has an old-world military quality that is cool and because it also has a modern twist as well, it’s perfect for the direction that fashion is heading towards.
What do you NOT like about this piece?
Liam: Pockets look a bit too big, the coat itself is ribbed and cut off and the pockets should always reflect the length of the coat. A smaller pocket size would look more aesthetically pleasing.
Gath: As it is made in lambskin, a really luxurious and soft feel leather, the way the leather has been put together actually creates a distraction that negates the special quality that lambskin has to offer.
What do you think would go well with this piece?
Liam: Definitely, from the looks of it, a hoodie underneath will give you a rugged look and goes really well with a leather jacket.
Gath: Due to the mix of old world and modern elements, this would work well with denim jeans and a t-shirt, sneakers or a boot, as well as slacks in a charcoal gray and a white button-down shirt. For the artsy types, a plaid trouser would actually give this piece some oomph.
