Khaki Lightweight Jacket (3/9)

What do you like about this piece?

Liam: The puffa look is really cool at the moment, I think it is appealing that it’s lightweight so you can wear a few things underneath to style it better.

Gath: The colour makes this piece really interesting. It’s not your typical khaki but makes the piece appear unique and expensive.

What do you NOT like about this piece?

Liam: The collar and the colour. I think the collar looks out of place and totally the wrong design for the jacket. The Khaki colour as well doesn’t allow a lot of room for other colour styles to mix with it.

Gath: Not a fan of the two breast-pockets. While the balance of function and fashion are relevant, these two pockets create way too much bulk in appearance which ultimately would give one a stuffy look. Again, this can also be the colour that contributes to this if not the pockets themselves. A colour, detail mismatch.

What do you think would go well with this piece?

Liam: A branded sweat underneath, maybe Lyle & Scott or Armani would compliment the design of the jacket. Keep the colour toned down though with a black or grey sweat.

Gath: This piece would go really well with denim jeans, a fleece jogger pant, even khaki on khaki would be a good idea. Though using different variants of khaki would be best. For those who love to layer or need to layer should go for shirts and tops that don’t have too big a pattern or print or even colour as this can conflict with the jacket itself. Especially when removing one or the other isn’t an option.
