Taking regular vacations or making changes in one’s environment is very important for maintaining a feeling of well-being. Sometimes when people get stuck in a routine they can begin to function on autopilot and may stop paying attention to anything outside of this routine. There are fewer opportunities to experience the joy that comes with seeing something novel, connecting with nature, and meeting new people.
