The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg (10/10)

This is not a book about the strategic planning process. Rather, it is a book that explores how habits are created by individuals and by organizations and how these resulting habits influence results and future success. This is a great book from which to glean fundamental processes and then direct towards implementing them in our personal and organizational lives. It explains how the leader of a business, in one case Alcoa, uses a simple “keystone habit” to focus the entire organization in a way that had an outsized impact on corporate success.
