This is the book that made me think about all of the details that go into the shopping experience. Originally written in 1999 and updated in 2008, the book highlights everything from the colors, scents, and textures that you experience in a clothing store to the design of supermarket end caps and how effective they are giving you what you need when you need it. It’s a short read, but the shopping psychology that you learn about will be long-lived.
