This book analyzes the differences between men’s and women’s styles of conversation and explains that women and men have distinct values that affect issues like thanking people, interrupting people, apologizing, public speaking, etc. I have found this book very useful in my own marriage, and I taught its concepts to my linguistics and women’s studies students.
