Although fiction, this book is a case study of how a society disintegrates when citizens are expected to be equal at all costs. Political correctness and wealth redistribution will eventually tear a country down. We see it happening in socialist countries around the world, yet Democratic politicians turn a blind eye to it. Or perhaps their real agenda is to selfishly better their positions at the expense of the general population they pretend to care about.
