Doing any kind of recreational reading relaxes the mind and body. It’s a great way to de-stress. You are also learning something new along with enjoying the physical and mental aspects of reading. Choose to read an inspirational or motivational book or magazine during your downtime so that you get the benefit of learning a new skill or hobby to practice when you are active and become motivated.
